Celebrate America with Praise
Music
The Bulverde United Methodist Church Praise Band
invites you to attend a night of praise and patriotic music to
celebrate our Country.
Join us on Saturday,
September 11 from 7:00 - 9:00 pm for an evening filled with the
sounds of contemporary Christian music. This is open to the public.

Plan to Join
The Vision!
With the summer moving towards an end and a new school
year on the horizon, it is time to plan on attending the
next Join The Vision class! This class is
designed to share information and create relationship
opportunities for visiting guests, new members and
others who would like to know more about BUMC, the
Methodist Church, and what it means to be a partner in
ministry with us.
The next Join The Vision class will be held for
four Sundays, starting September 12th, 2010
(9/12-10/3). Classes will be upstairs in the
Community Building from 11:00am till noon, led by Pastor
Steve Coker. All materials are provided so all you
need to do is show up!
The classes are open dialogue and allow for question and
answer time in lieu of being a typical classroom
setting. They are informative and fun as you never
know what questions will arise! On October 3rd,
the day of the last class, there will be a celebration
lunch for the attendees, along with leaders from various
church ministry areas.. It will be a great
opportunity to meet new people and celebrate.
Plan your Sunday mornings in September to include the
Join The Vision class. Simply call the church
office and let Linda know you will be coming so she can
prepare enough class material. If you have any
questions, you may call Pastor Steve, as well, at

MOPS (Mothers of
Preschoolers) is a non-denominational program designed to
nurture mothers with children from infancy through
kindergarten. MOPS is about celebrating motherhood, meeting
needs, making connections and experiencing God’s love
through relationships and resources. The women are of many
ages and backgrounds, but share the same desire – to be the
best mothers they can be.
